Equipment

  • 1 Crockpot Large enough fit the amount of beef you wish to cook

Ingredients

  • 4 Pound Chuck Roast or Pot Roast You can substitute sirloin tip roast or rump roast if that is what you have.
  • 1 1 oz. Envelope Zesty Italian Salad Dressing Mix It does not have to be zesty. I have used the plain Italian salad dressing seasoning and it came out fabulous
  • 1 16 oz. Jar Pepperoncini Peppers You can leave these whole or chop them up. I will by the chopped pepperoncini peppers if they are available. It saves time.
  • 3 Cups Beef Broth You can use less or more broth depending on how much juice you like on the side. My family loves the juice for dipping, I tend to put in at least 3 cups of broth.
  • Italian Giardiniera Drained. Here is your heat if you would like to make this spicy. If I am feeding kids, I use about 4 oz. drained. If I'm feedind my spicy loving freinds, I will use the entire bottle drained.
  • 10 Rolls French Rolls or Crusty Italian Rolls
